WALKING-Guide
Basic Education
Complete the one-day training program (8 hours) with an authorized smoveyWALKING Guide Instructor and obtain the qualification to conduct smoveyWALKS and smoveyINTRODUCTORY COURSES (outdoor) with individuals and groups.
To significantly expand your skills and to offer the full range of possibilities of the versatile smoveyTRAINING system, you have the option to upgrade to smoveyCOACH training within 12 months (attendance on Day 2 of the smoveyCOACH training). After the 12-month period, repeating Day 1 of the basic training is required.
smoveyWALKING has been one of the most popular forms of walking for many people for quite some time.
The green rings are not only eye-catching and attract attention – above all, they have a unique effect on body, mind, and soul.
During smoveyWALKING, the active swinging of the arms supports the body’s natural upright posture and creates a gentle rotation of the spine, additionally activating the stabilizing muscles.
At the same time, the light vibration of the rings can be felt and is transmitted through the reflex zones of the hands to the entire body.
Special exercises with the smoveys can be perfectly integrated into smoveyWALKING, turning it into a complete smoveyWORKOUT. The relaxing conclusion of each session, achieved through gentle rolling of the rings over the body, allows the beneficial effects of the vibrations to fully unfold once again.
You will be inspired yourself – and you will inspire your groups with smovey.
Training Content:
1) Theory and Organization:
- Comprehensive theoretical knowledge (origin, mode of action, correct handling)
- Information on organizational procedures and tips for starting your own movement groups (applications, course fees, etc.)
- License partnership and fundamentals of smoveyBUSINESS
- Warranty and guarantee for the product
2) Practical Training:
- Methodology of the smoveyWALK Technique
- Fundamentals of posture and correct swinging technique (wrist, elbow, proper grip of the smovey)
- Corrections for improper handling
- Warm-up exercises before a smoveyWALK
- Foot and leg technique, basic exercises
- Exercises to prepare for correct walking (arm–leg coordination)
- Walking on flat terrain, uphill and downhill
- Partner exercises and group exercises
- Exercises incorporating natural elements (steps, tree trunks, forest terrain, stones, etc.)
- Cool-down exercises
- Relaxation techniques (rolling)

After completing the Basic Education, we recommend attending our smoveyBUSINESS-Day,
to significantly expand your professional field of activity with smovey®.
Competencies:
The certified smoveyWALKING Guide is authorized, with a valid smovey® license, to conduct smoveyWALKS in all possible formats. For additional training offers (e.g. intensive courses, movement sessions for specific target groups), completion of Day 2 of the smoveyCOACH training is required.
